This generous fitting sweatshirt is a quick and easy make and features a wide bottom band that lands just above the hip. Designed for knit fabrics with at least 20% horizontal stretch going around the body such as stretch fleece, stretch French terry. The Elemental Skirt is a slim, high waist pencil skirt with a hidden elastic waistband designed for knit fabrics with at least 50% horizontal stretch.
PATTERN FEATURES
Version #1 - features a funnel neck that lands about mid-neck height and is self-faced with the raglan seams continuing up into the neck.
Version #2 - features a more traditional curved neckline with a neckband.
Sleeve A - features a long bell sleeve
Sleeve B - features a cuffed long sleeve
Skirt Version #1 is just below the knee
Skirt Version #2 is Midi-length

Sizing: US 16-34, Please also check the designer's size charts and finished garment measurements. The finished measurements for the skirt should be slightly smaller than your actual body measurements. There is a bit of negative ease in the hips- typical for styles using stretch knit fabrics.
Notions: Thread; 1/4" (0.635 cm) fusible knit tape (optional for Version #1) 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) wide elastic (long enough to wrap around your waist plus 1/2" (1.2cm)
Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The standard size range (sizes 00 - 20) is fit on a base size 8 that is approximately 5'6" - 5'7" (168 - 170 cm) tall and grades very slightly in height. It is fit on a B/C cup. The curvy size range (sizes 16 - 34) is fit on a base size 24 that is approximately 5'6" - 5'7" (168 - 170 cm) tall and does not grade in height. Cup sizes may be offered for C/D, E/F and G/H depending on the style. There are differences between the curvy and standard sizes 16 - 20. The shoulders on the curvy sizes are narrower, the cups are fuller, and the tummy and hips are rounder than for the standard sizes.
