This astonishingly sumptuous fabric will have you in awe of its excellence. Soft and silken in hand, the linen and rayon blend boasts a subtle luster throughout. Of a medium weight and without stretch, utilize its voluminous, malleable drape to fashion anything from casual shirts and jackets to flowing caftans to more sophisticated pinafore skirts and cigarette pants. It is that versatile. This is one of my favorite garment sewing fabrics. It is similar to the beloved Essex Yarn Dyed, but a bit lighter and silkier. The combination of linen blended with rayon provides a softer hand with a bit more radiance than a standalone linen and much easier to press! This fabric gets softer the more you wash and wear it. As for the colors, well, they couldn't be more beautiful. Available in shades that looks as if they jumped right off of Renoir's pallet as he was on the banks of the Seine.
