Sewing Booklet for Miyako Bags

Furoshiki Bag Pattern, A companion to the Miyako Leather Handle

Your bag, your style, in just a few seconds time. If you are as obsessed with the Miyako Leather Bag Handles as I am, then you will want this booklet of patterns. The Sewing Booklet for Miyako Bags contains three patterns to make the Furoshiki, Origami, and Osaka style bags. The step-by-step instructions and illustrations are simple and straight forward. Minimal sewing and big rewards! I love this style of bag for the possibilities it offers- (and wish I had come up with the concept!) One leather strap and a few fabric twists and folds and voila! a new bag appears. I've been having so much fun playing with different weights of fabric- from silk scarves to old wool blankets and even a Turkish beach towel- They all work!

Take a look at this tutorial on YouTube and get ready to start designing your next bag. https://youtu.be/A_-C0L8sIiE
