Teen Sewing and Design Program
In the Teen Sewing and Design Program at Little Stitch Studio students learn to sew and create clothing for themselves. Students select their own projects so that they can develop skills at their own pace. Depending on your teen's skill level, they may also learn pattern drafting and/or draping during class. To provide excellence in instruction, classes are limited to five students each.
Classes meet weekly for 90 minutes. Options for Teens and Tweens are on Wednesdays from 5-6:30, Fridays 4-5:30 and 6-7:30pm. All supplies are included and monthly billing is available.

Classes
Weekly After School Sewing Classes
Little Stitch Studio + Norfolk Collegiate School, Grades 3-5 will learn how to sew while making real clothing and accessories. This class will be held at Norfolk Collegiate Lower School and is open to Collegiate students only.

This is an advanced level class. Ages 12-18 will use sewing machines to create a wearable garment or accessories that they have made. Spring 2024 session starting March 15. For full dates, class details, and to read more about our COVID safety precautions please see Details, below.
This class is for adults only. In this class you will learn all the basics of sewing, including learning the parts of the sewing machine and how they work, how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and troubleshoot common issues. Once you've threaded the machine you'll learn how to sew a seam, change the settings on the machine, and the importance of a seam allowance.
